John has been involved in the IT industry since 1971, and
in Disaster Recovery since 1990 and Business Continuity
since 1997. Before relocating to Toowoomba late in 2005,
he was the Service Continuity Manager at Promina, an ASX50
company, with responsibilities for Disaster Recovery for
the Promina Group operations in Australia and New Zealand,
and for Business Continuity planning for the Group's Sydney
Data Centre. He has had considerable experience at planning
and running large-scale Disaster Recovery tests at IBM's
Sydney recovery site.

Phil specialized in computer engineering at the University of
Wollongong before joining IBM in 1978. After leaving IBM in 1992 he
completed an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of
Western Sydney and continued research while contracting to IBM,
Fujitsu and TRT. In 2002 he worked in Nanjing, China as the IT project
manager for the Traditional Medicine University and the University of
Western Sydney joint project delivering an E-Commerce degree.
He enjoys working on
long drawn out problems and performance tuning.
